THE BIG BANG

1 September 2010 – 1 February 2011

CHINA’S ART EXPLOSION

The White Rabbit Collection aims to record the development of Chinese contemporary art in the 21st century. The works in THE BIG BANG exhibition have all emerged from a period of explosive change. Since the country joined the world economy in 2000, no area of life in China has remained the same. The upheavals have been confusing and testing, but they have also made Chinese artists more confident and more internationally minded than ever before. I hope viewers will enjoy the diversity of works in this show and be stimulated by the ideas behind them.”
Judith Neilson AM, Founder and Director, White Rabbit Collection

THE BIG BANG is drawn completely from Judith Neilson’s renowned White Rabbit Collection.
